Willard Park Yoga Collective

The Willard Park Yoga Collective began in February 2021 in an effort to create a safe, accessible place to practice yoga in community during the pandemic by teachers Carmen Casado and Rachel Gaudy. Within the first year, Rachel moved, I joined, followed by Jess Parker, and we went from 2 days a week to 5! Fellow Purusha Yoga trainee Nancy McKay was so moved by the open accessibility she jumped on board as volunteer scribe and tech angel, managing our growing email list and Facebook page. 

WPYC’s goal remains the same: to share yoga in nature, in community, in public space that belongs to us all, on a donation basis, with no one turned away for lack of funds.

We now offer classes 6 days a week, holding space for all sincere comers all year long.
